Colors of The Night
"Follow that car!"
It's been a while that I haven't been shooting at night. I mean, I used to have this doubt about going flash-less and the idea of slow shutter in outdoor photography. But then I realized that flash-less is indeed the way to go when capturing the ambiance of nightlife. Furthermore, there's nothing to worry about pumping the ISO on my camera to the max when noise (grain) produced by digital SLRs nowadays aren't really that bad. Hey, it's better to have some noise rather than blur on the image, right?
Indeed, the night is a beautiful sight to be captured, and its a waste to miss them. They're truly incomparable to shots taken during the day.
The Pasar Malam (night stalls) in Gadong. You can buy some stuff here for sahur.
The you-know-what
Some of the tallest buildings you could find in the capital
The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque
Oh yeah, I just noticed that they've taken off the remaining scaffolding from the SOAS mosque. I guess it's about time they've completed the renovation work on the building. I mean, it's been quite a while. It was supposed to be completed before His Majesty's Birthday Celebration a couple of months ago. Well, at least that's fixed and now it's looking good as new.
All images are flash-less, handheld and PP'ed.
