The Nikon COOLPIX S1000pj is the first compact digital camera in the world to feature a built-in projector. With a simple touch of a button, the camera projects photos or movies clips on any flat surface at up to 40 inches in size. iPhone 3Gs, Worth The Wait?

A new version of the iPhone was finally revealed by Apple at the WWDC yesterday. Now sporting 32GB, runs up to 2x faster, equipped with tons of cool new apps, the ability to cut, copy and paste, a 3-megapixel camera and the biggest surprise - it now shoots video! I think I've found the ultimate iPhone I've been looking for. Guess I've to cancel the Flip Mino from my wishlist then.

Slides From Our Graduation Night

For those who have either missed watching the slides I've compiled for our graduation night held last night, or wish to relive the memories again, you can watch it here in all its glory. (Thank you iMovie and YouTube).

Now that my colleagues and I have graduated, we are entering a whole new journey, with new challenges and opportunities that awaits us in our doorsteps. Our future is brighter now. But we will forever cherish the moments my colleagues and I spent together since our first day we set foot in The Business School.

The Nikon D5000 Put To The Test

Thinking of purchasing your first digital SLR? The Nikon D5000 might be just the right camera for beginners. Best of all, this new camera comes with HD video-recording capabilities, so you get the best of both worlds at a price of an entry-level dSLR. And it's got a swivelling LCD live-view screen so you could, say, enjoy shooting self-portraits with ease.

The New iPod Shuffle

Apple on Wednesday introduced the next generation iPod Shuffle. Now it is nearly half the size of the previous model at 1.8 inches tall by 0.3 inches thin. This new model is the smallest portable music player, but being so small doesn't mean compromising memory capacity. Apple has bumped up this little gizmo up to 4GB!

The new iPod shuffle comes in silver or black and features a sleek and design with a built-in stainless steel clip. By removing the buttons Apple was able to make the shuffle smaller, without compromising on other features. All of the controls are located on the earphone cord, allow you to play, pause, adjust volume, switch playlists and, get this, 'hear' the name of the song and artist. That's right. This Shuffle actually talks! Not convinced? Check out this demo:

The new Shuffle is now the smallest music player in the world, but despite being smaller, it actually holds more songs. Its revolutionary features and control totally obsoletes the old models. This is your perfect companion for your weekly jogging and gym needs. Get this if you can't afford a Nano.

Inspired By a True Story

This is just one of the latest local film projects created by the talented guys at Visual Dimensions Entertainment. They've made an excellent effort in creating a buzz in YouTube and the local scene. The moral of the story: live below your means. LOL

Anticipating T4

Suddenly, May 21st seems like taking a long long to arrive. As everyone's excited about the Transformers sequel this summer, I'm heavily anticipating this film. A third new trailer has been released and my god it looks wicked-awesome:

An Introduction to Web 2.0

I saw this video shown by Anakbrunei from last year's Blog It Up seminar in UBD. It's really quite interesting to watch, so I thought I'd share it with you all. Somehow it made me realize how interesting the subject of anthropology can be.

Nikon Does Touchscreen

I've seen one too many touchscreen gizmos these past year. But on compact cameras such as the Sony Cybershots, I would wanna see the interface to be as slick as the iPhone. Well, Nikon's finally got it right with its latest Nikon s60 digital compact camera. Its touchscreen interface makes it one of a kind. Also, the face detection on this little gadgetry is superb! How come I didn't see this at the Nikon roadshow in Hua Ho Manggis?

A Vision of Students Today

This was the video that was played by Mr Reeda of Anakbrunei.org at the end of his presentation at the Blog It Up @ UBD seminar last Saturday. It's brilliant! I was very impressed on how this video was made and I really enjoyed watching it. It gives me a lot of thought about how our new lifestyle changes affects us as students of the digital age, whether we could survive with it or be destroyed by it. In reality, it's a tougher world out there despite the fact that technology has gotten more advanced than ever. The objective of this video is not exactly to demoralize the viewer but to open our eyes and minds and encourage us to better prepare ourselves to face the challenges in life as a student. Hopefully this will be useful for you all, whether you are currently studying abroad or preparing yourself for it.

Suddenly this post rekindled my (not-so) good times...

The Monday Blues

Like every other people on this planet, I've been experiencing another dose of the Monday Blues yesterday. A huge pile of work to be completed in a week time, the terrible weather, and I wasn't even feeling well throughout the day yesterday (sore throat). Nevertheless, I've found the remedy for all that; I went jamming with the boys after work to clear my head off.

I guess I'll be very busy this week (work and personal errands), so expect some minor lack of updates. In fact, my camera deserves a little break. Well, I gotta get back to work. In the meantime, enjoy this theatrical trailer. Something I'm really anticipated to watch in theaters next month.

Bila Rasaku Ini Rasamu

I really love Kerispatih's music videos over the years, and this one's splendidly done. It kinda looks like a high-budget video for an Indon band. The song's really good too. Recommended by Sai.

Nano-Chromatic

Honestly I love the newer design of this release of the iPod Nano. I prefer this than the previous smaller biscuit-sized Nano released late last year, which had an awfully tiny screen.
