Beautiful Moonlight Above Gadong

Went outing with the BFF last night in the back alleys of Gadong for a light painting session. Though I did not bring a tripod (okay, I don't really have one yet) and torches for last night's activity, I thought I'd capture this beautiful scenery at the location instead. Hey, its better than nothing right?

Gadong Sunset Outing

We had a brief outing yesterday with the Brunei Forever Forum gang. The theme was Gadong Sunset Outing. Unfortunately there was no sign of the sun as the sky was totally covered with dark clouds (it rained later in the night). Anyway, Mr Airbiscuit was kind enough to give us a self-portrait and group photo opportunity with his fish-eye lens at our usual assembly spot near the Mall and here's the outcome.

Sungkai With The BFF Photogs

Ahh, Blue Eden. Where everybody knows your name. The photographers' turf. The Brunei Forever Forum photogs hang out here every week, usually for lunch, supper, casual meetings, watch football on the widescreen telly or just simply to chill. For this month of Ramadhan, we had our sungkai together at Blue Eden. This was last Friday, right after our big outing at the Gerai Ramadhan in Gadong.

BFF Storms Gerai Ramadhan Gadong

Taken yesterday afternoon during the Brunei Forever Forum outing at the Gerai Ramadhan in Gadong near the fish wet market. We assembled outside Rizqun and made our move to the stalls by crossing the bridge. It's a whole new atmosphere in the Gadong stalls, yet its as busy as the ones at the stadium. Yesterday sure was fun.

Strolling Down The Jeti

Just some random shots of my previous brief mini outing with my cousins. They wanted to experience the Venice of the East, so I did them a favor by taking them for a boat ride from Kg Pintu Malim to the Yayasan by passing through several villages. It's not much though because it rained suddenly that afternoon halfway throughout our journey so we had to head back. No matter, we're gonna do it again sometime soon. I get the feeling that they're so eager to take the boat ride again. Anyway, I look forward to a real water village outing right in the heart of Kg Ayer after the festivities are over.

KB Outing

Every year, it has always been tough to deal with the constant hunger pangs throughout the afternoon on the very 1st day of the fasting month, so the best way to pass the time and put my mind off food yesterday was to go for an outing, in Kuala Belait! I tagged my Lumut cousin Aman along to accompany me for this short outing.

Even though I was not actually born there, KB has always been like home to me since my childhood. My grandparents and relatives reside mostly in Lumut. Its been so long since I visited KB. It's like all these while I've been going around in circles in Bandar and I figured I needed to look for a different place to photoshoot.
