Armada Revisited

A small farewell gathering was held yesterday for the attachment students of Armada Properties. We were called back to attend and receive our certificates and tokens of appreciation for the 3 of us; Rena, Nur Ain and myself. The NTC attachment students were also there to receive their certificates. It's really nice to be back in Armada for a day to see our supervisors and work colleagues. Even driving down there sure felt so familiar, like its home to me.


Being attached with Armada Properties for a period of 6 months have been a rewarding experience. The challenges were always there, and being able to contribute my skills and expertise to good use has been an effort which I believed had brought a lot of benefit for the company as well as for my personal development. Working there has also given me a preview of what it’s like to manage properties and how the real estate business really works. It has always been my curiosity and interest to learn and experience real estate in the first place and this is perhaps one of the greatest opportunities that I’ve ever received in my enrolment as a business student in The Business School.

6 months have been a memorable experience indeed, and sometimes I couldn't even believe that the final phase of my course is over. What awaits us now is our graduation day sometime in April. After that, it's on to the next level. So exactly what I'm planning to do during these 4 months awaiting graduation is really up to me to make the best of it. I'm actually looking forward for some thrills before my 26th birthday comes up. KL, here I come!

Attachment Ends Today

Today's the last day of work, and its a farewell day for us to the company. 6 months being attached in Armada Properties sure felt like 3 years. Lots of opportunities, knowledge and experience gained, and not forgetting the things of which I have contributed to the company. I'm sure gonna miss the place.

It Will All Be Over Soon

11 more days (not counting the public holidays). That's exactly how much time I have left for my attachment. By this month I should be working on my final report to be submitted to the school and after that it will all be over, only anticipating the graduation day sometime in April. I'm sure gonna miss Armada Properties. It's been a really great experience.

Early next year's gonna be great. Lots of traveling and soul-searching, as well as the next stage in my education after my graduation or perhaps a career. I don't exactly know how it's gonna be but I'm determined that something great will be in stores for me. I just need to be more optimistic next year. In the meantime, I deserve a huge celebration after 3 long years of being in the Business & Finance course.

Yesterday, Our moderator from Australia Mr Stephen Allen, along with an entourage from The Business School, paid a visit to our workplace where we are currently attached. I thought he would not recognize me but surprisingly he did. After all, we've met each and every year since the Pre-national days back in 2005. I've always been known to him as the IT guy of The Business School, as refered to by Ms Eton (I remembered trying to fix his laptop). Stephen had a really great time at our meeting room yesterday morning as we discussed on our welfare and what we have contributed to the company for the past 5 months. It's really great to see our moderator once again, and to think that this is gonna be the last time I'll ever get to see him before we finally graduate early next year.

1 More Month To Go

My attachment will be over soon. I'm sure gonna miss my time at Armada Properties especially at the Executive Housing area, so I decided to take some shots at the place for memories sake, lest I forget. Gotta love the garden area.

Happy 25th Birthday to Rena

It was Rena's birthday yesterday, and we celebrated her birthday this morning at the office with a really delicious cake. She's 25 now. Well, at least being old is no longer my concern as now I know that I'm not the only one among our group who's old. Hehehe.

The Last Day of Raya

These are pictures taken at our previous function held at my workplace last Friday. We had a raya gathering at the premise and we invited all the tenants to join the evening of food, karaoke and fireworks.

3rd Month Coming To a Close

Sir Abu and Sir Sofian finally made their visit to my attachment place at Armada Properties Sdn Bhd yesterday morning. Nothing much really, just a brief interview with my supervisor and I as well as reviewing my logbook.

In just a few more days, I will be entering my 4th month in my industrial attachment. So far so good. I've learned a lot from work, particularly on critical planning and dealing with customer complaints. I'm really getting the hang of it. I can't wait to wrap everything up so that I could graduate already.

Sometimes I miss being in class...

Lunch Hour

The only closest place we could go to is the GIANT supermarket in Rimba. It's just a 2 minute drive from Armada Properties. We really can't afford to go all the way to Gadong because of time constraints as we were only given an hour and 15 minutes lunch break. By the time we finished eating, we've got only 20 minutes free time. That's really tight.


But GIANT is a really great place to have lunch. What's not to like? There are an abundance of restaurants we could try out, and the foodcourt is affordable with a variety of dishes to choose from. I highly recommend the others to visit us here during lunchtime, I mean to those with more than enough time to drop by to GIANT rather than meeting up at the Mall. C'mon guys, that place sucks!






So far its just me and Rena today, because Ain had her lunch at home (her place is just close by anyway). But we do get Dash and Milla around, and we're expecting more.
