UNISSA Students Hold Cleaning Campaign

Students and teaching staff of the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) organised a cleaning campaign at the university's newly relocated campus in Gadong last Saturday with the aim to beautify the campus before the start of the new semester. UNISSA moved to the present campus on July 6 after the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah College of Nursing vacated the premise and merged with the Institute of Medicine in UBD.

Experiencing Sunway Lagoon

I was rummaging through my old photos from KL and I figured there were still pictures I have missed posting into my blog. These were taken during our fourth day in KL, the day before we returned home. It was the last bit of fun we did before we packed our stuff. Not surprisingly, the entry price for the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park has gone pretty steep throughout the years. The last time I went to Sunway Lagoon it only costed half of how much they actually charged today. But from the looks of it, they've just made the theme park better and better so it was money well spent.

I had so much fun on these!

The magnificently huge lagoon. If only my camera is waterproof.

Cross Country Through My Neighborhood

I was on my way back from a good morning car wash earlier today when I came across hundreds of students from Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan briskwalking along the small road in my neighborhood. Apparently it's their annual cross country event, with the majority participated in this physical activity being the lower secondary students of the college.

One Night at Merce

So attachments' over and graduation's only a matter of months away. This is the time where we spend our remaining days together as schoolmates before we put on our black cloaks and graduation hats. To keep ourselves occupied on these remaining months, some have secured their job from where they were attached, others found a different job, while I am a full-time photographer. Nevertheless, we still get the fun going. We were at Merce Pool & Snooker in Kiulap (near Blue Eden) for a game of pool together last night, just one of the fun things we've planned to do before our graduation in May.
