Hulk Revamped

HULK ANGGRYYY!!!!

This looks promising. The new Hulk movie will be out soon so brace yourself for another summer Marvel feast. This is an all new Hulk flick, with a totally revamped construction of the green superhero and bringing him back to his original comic look. The 2003's Hulk was a major disappointment (some people even claimed that Eric Bana's version of Hulk looked like Shrek).

This time, Edward Norton will play the role of Bruce Banner. Personally, I'm a big fan of Ed Norton. He was really cool in The Illusionist.

Here's the official synopsis of the upcoming flick:

The explosive, action-packed adventure in one of the all-time most popular superhero sagas unfolds with a cure in reach for the world's most primal force of fury: THE INCREDIBLE HULK. We find scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) living in shadows, scouring the planet for an antidote. But the warmongers who dream of abusing his powers won't leave him alone, nor will his need to be with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler). Upon returning to civilization, our brilliant doctor is ruthlessly pursued by The Abomination (Tim Roth)--a nightmarish beast of pure adrenaline and aggression whose powers match The Hulk's own. A fight of comic-book proportions ensues as Banner must call upon the hero within to rescue New York City from total destruction. Yowza! At last, I've beaten Solitaire on my iPod while I was chilling out with Marriz and Ah Chong at Foodzone this afternoon. Took me some time to beat this game. Saja killing time and getting some peace of mind after hours of revision today. I've got Accounting test tomorrow. :P

Tidal Wave of Tests

It's exam week all over again. After last week's Statistics test I thought I could have a break but instead I have to endure another daily dose of revision for my Economics test this Saturday, Language & Communications test on Monday and Business Accounting on Tuesday. That's a lot of tests to swallow before wrapping up for the upcoming term holidays on the 20th prior to the Maulud. Looks like I won't be enjoying my weekend this week after all.

So many things in my head this week, but as long as I'm able to manage my time, I'll be alright. I'm used to being under pressure anyway. The only way for me to pull myself together and stay focused is by counting the remaining days of my time in the Business School. It keeps the excitement and adrenaline going. ;)

Progression

And now for my fitness update. This is my 2nd week. I've managed to keep up with the momentum of my daily run. For every afternoon, I have put a full commitment to achieve a total running distance of 4 km. I'm no longer as fatigue as I used to be when I first started running 2 weeks ago. I'm now able to keep a steady pace running on the tracks around the stadium without stopping before sundown.

But I have to watch my diet too. I have to be extra careful on what I eat and how much I consume in a day. Temptations are everywhere, and they're no doubt delicious.

Right-Brained

I didn't do pretty well on my statistics test yesterday, despite the hours of group study before entering the exam room. Though I've managed to solve most of the questions, I doubt my answers were right. My brain was literally exhausted from all the calculating of regressions, correlations, time series, present values, interests and a few others.

I'm not really the analytical thinking person. I'm more of a right-brain man. I love words, colors, details and atmosphere. I enjoy music, literature, art and photography. My skills have been entirely focused on these aspects for many years.

Math, statistics and anything to do with numbers, on the other hand, aren't really my cup of tea. Truthfully, I'm not a pro in calculations and solving math. I need a calculator in my pocket at all times and I depend heavily on formula sheets.

So that explains why I do not enjoy my Statistics class (our lecturer is another factor). I wish so badly that it would be replaced with a subject much more interesting, such as Business Art (if there is such a subject). Unfortunately, its too late for that now, coz I'll be finishing this course soon this year anyway.

The Long Hard Road

A week has passed. I've been running every single afternoon under various weather conditions. My car is still at the workshop so I had to run from my house all the way to the stadium and back again. I don't care if my legs hurt from all the running and walking, as long as I keep moving every single day. This is one sure way for me to lose the extra pounds and get back in shape.

I need to do this, and nothing can stop me, not even rain, pesky dogs and muscle pain. I've done this before, and I surely can do it again.

Statistics, Oh Statistics

Gilakaley. Stats test is like another couple of days, and I'm still blur on all the topics we've all covered these past few weeks. Even yesterday's revision class didn't help either. Man, I can't wait for the 6 months industrial attachment, the road to freedom. It's like a matter of time now. In the meantime I'll have no choice but to bear with this bloody %#*$&@ Statistics! For another %#*$&@ two months!!
